This is Burnt Island Lighthouse up at the head of the harbor in beautiful Boothbay, Maine. Since taking this photograph I've added more color and highlights that have made it look even better. It's double matted and set in a rustic wood frame and looks beautiful. An update to this painting! My wife and I went to Boothbay, Maine one of our favorite coastal towns in New England. We arrived on Saturday and Sunday I took this watercolor painting along with another one down to the gallery. This painting sold with in twenty four hours to a couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
