I enjoyed watching the 2018 Winter Olympics in particular the cross country skiers which takes strength and endurance. That's how the inspiration and idea started to do a watercolor painting of cross country skiing! The Aurora lights is something I wanted to capture but, stopped short of painting the Northern lights which is better left for another time. Natural lights are usually visible just above the tree line and very pretty to see when your out. Sometime I'm going to do a painting of the Northern Lights! This painting is double matted and framed.
