Where has the summer gone? It sure has flown by so quickly and fall is already upon us with the Holidays just around the corner. I think there's a special feeling when the tree colors start to change! All those great activity's like spending time outdoors, good home cooking, and Football are just a few of my favorites. Recently my latest quest is Portrait painting which I've started doing. I feel that it's a very special gift to be able to draw and paint someone! When I'm working on a painting of someone I think and feel their lives. I remember my late Uncle Andy Moore teaching me the techniques of drawing facial features. It my sound funny or odd to some people I guess but, those early lessons where a big influence on me. I finally made the decision to do a painting of my late cousin Ellen who past away years ago from cancer. My Cousin lived a short but, great life touched so many lives with her presence.

Some other studio paintings in the planning stages are colorful landscapes that include Deer and other wildlife as well. In fact, I've been in the studio lately doing a lot of watercolor painting using more of those beautiful fall colors! This time of year we have a Bi-annual Art Walk in Lancaster, PA. Since it's this weekend I wanted to celebrate and make a great offer available! So for a limited time if you signup for my email newsletter receive a 15% discount on my watercolor paintings. The best part is this offer is already is available to current newsletter subscribers. Here's how it works! Once you pick out your painting please contact me before you buy the painting so I can apply the discount! I feel very blessed to be given the God given gift of a artistic voice and talent so I wanted to share that gift with others. www.donwhitesel.com
