Daisies & Sunflowers

I absolutely love this painting and the story behind it! I spent a week or two on this painting in the summer of 2017 and it really has lot's of meaning for me! Over the years I've grown to really like daisies especially with sunflowers. In fact one of my favorite Brandywine artists Philip Jamison would add daisies in his paintings. The small creamer is something that my Brother gave me which suited the composition perfectly. The whole painting tells of a story that's part of my life both past, and present. I was influenced by famous artist Charles Reid who specializes in floral watercolor paintings among other subjects. This painting is beautifully matted and framed.
