Pansies and Terra-Cotta

I think this watercolor painting is a real testament to all the years I've spent studying the art work of the late Charles Reid with my artist Uncle the late Andrew Moore. In fact as I was working on this painting when Charles Reid past away very unexpectedly. I remember spending many hours in the studio with my Uncle talking about art, looking at books, and watching watercolor demos. It was great fun talking, learning, and making life long memories which I can now share. People will often ask me how it feels to be able to paint like that! The truth is it can be quite overwhelming when you see what your imagination has helped you create! It's very common for me to think of Jesus and the great gift he has given me, and I feel very humbled by it. Art entertains the heart and mind!
