It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is almost here and before long the big guy in the red suit will arrive as well. I like the holidays and everything that goes along with it. Yes I'll even confess to watching those Hallmark movies too because they give me a break. I think there's way to much violence and shootings in this world now an day's! Let's face it, the arts give us a great world to escape to even if it's just for an little while. We all have our favorite paintings too don't we? So with that having been said here's what's going on! I love offering discount prices on my art work during the holidays but, It's difficult to change all the prices on my website. So if you see a painting your interested in please drop me a line thru my website and there's even a phone number listed which I'll try to answer. I'm also on facebook listed as Don Whitesel Studios. So there's plenty of way to get in touch if you want to. One question some people may have about whether the paintings are framed or not. Some watercolor paintings are framed while others are not but, I can always do one up at cost. My portfolio is continuing to grow with plans to paint a Church in the winter time that will be titled "the Episcopal Canon" and have a great story to it. Other subjects in the near future are a pair of Cardinals in the winter as well on a pine tree or holly bush. I'm even going to paint a Lobster boat caught in a snow storm for my New England friends because I know they see lot's of snow storms. I might even add a green wreath with a red bow on the boat just to catch the eye. In closing let me mention to please be sure to check out the link for Fine Art America on my website for prints, mugs and more. The mugs are really cool and we plan to buy some too! Have a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday!
