Practice is the secret!

Coastal Treasure
Many times I've had people say to me "sure wish I could paint like that" which to me is a big compliment! I started drawing and painting at the age of about 10 or 12. I remember spending many hours an day drawing and sketching while my young friends where outside honing their skills at sports like baseball an football. It's like the old saying goes if you want to be good at something then do it as often as possible! The most successful people over the years have always done one thing really well and for me that has always been drawing and painting. A lot of people think watercolor painting is very difficult to learn but, it's best when the paints do there own thing. As they say in Golf the fewer strokes wins the game! It's not always easy to know when to let some area of the painting go and call it finished but, then in time that's something you learn. Practice makes perfect so with time (and patience) watercolor painting is lot's of fun and rewarding to learn.
