I'm often asked how I find a subject to paint! The answer is, when I see things that inspire me I draw and sketch them to capture that moment in time. Later that idea is worked on even more and hopefully turned in to a beautiful painting. While not every thing I draw makes it to the brush it does allow me to record things. Drawing and design are actually an big part of watercolor painting that comes very natural for most artists. My artistic journey started at a very young age of about 10 or 12 (I'll soon be 58) which I'll admit was many years ago. I remember studying the great works of the modern day master watercolor artists and painters in my Uncle Andy Moore's studio in Tyrone, PA. Even some of my closest friends never really knew about my passion and talent until the social media and my website. I'm able to share paintings that started out as just an idea and drawing or sketch. I hope my friends, and Family continue to enjoy and follow my artistic journey! Drawing and Painting have always been my life long passion!
